Today, when I was having lunch at my favorite Italian Restaurant, a man started talking to me about my inventions. So, I asked him to sit down and learn more about what I did. I started the conversation by talking to him about my greatest invention, which was when I built the first battery.
In 1800, I wanted to produce a device that would cause a large flow of electricity. I put my mind to it and finally produced the first electric battery. When I developed this device I became extremely popular. I got many awards because of this invention. ln 1801, I received an award for being so productive and being the first to discover the battery. I also received many medals and decorations, including the Legion of Honor. In 1810, I was elected to the senate of the kingdom of Lombardy. For many years, I got awards like this just because I produced the first electric battery. After I created the battery, many scientists wanted to give me another reward. Therefore, they named the driving force that moves the electric current that is called volt after me. Also the v in bevatron is named after me. Bevatron is the energy of moving charged particles produced by modern atom-smashing machines. By the end of the story, I thought the man at the Italian Restaurant would be asleep or bored out of his mind. Everyone who hears my stories is bored, but he wasn’t bored, he was so interested. He wanted me to tell another story but I said I couldn’t because I had to get back to my wife and kids. However, I told him that if he comes back tomorrow, I will tell him more about my inventions.
